Food was delicious. Service was nice.

Very charming service, the food selection has something for every taste and the cook does a really good job. They not only what is good, they also know how to make it!

We were there for the lunch menu, which was absolutely inexpensive and very tasty. Very large portions for the respective dishes. A star deduction, because it took a little while to be served, and in the end there was no time to eat during the lunch break. Otherwise a great service ?

Sacked for a misunderstanding! After drinking two glasses of wine, we placed the order for two Greek salads and two lamb pan dishes. Since there are small and large portions of salad, there was a misunderstanding when ordering, which led to a real escalation of the situation on the part of the service staff. We were asked to leave the restaurant immediately because of my wife's key. The staff and the boss did not try to clarify the situation factually, but immediately became personal. When I said that I was a bit surprised why you put Italian balsamic vinegar on a Greek salad, although you couldn't read anything about it in the menu, I was given the answer: You are here in Germany and here you would do it that way. They are also not Greek and if we don't like it we could go somewhere else. Such a casual statement actually says everything about the style and value of this restaurant and its people. We were happy to leave the restaurant at our own request.

We live in Zurich and have been regulars for years - the Metropol is one of our favorite restaurants far and wide. Not to be compared with Switzerland! For 25 euros you can get a terribly boring, small portion of pasta made without love in Zurich ... In the Metropol, great attention is paid to details and quality and the portions are comparatively generous. The ambience is wonderful in every season of the year, whether in the garden or inside and the waiters are so kind and attentive. My recommendation: cream of salmon soup and the shepherd's salad. The lamb pan is great for meat lovers ? We look forward to our next visit ❤️

Very tasty restaurant. The staff was courteous, motivated and personable. Nice view of the bridge and "gorge" of Waldshut. Price / performance top. We recommend.

Unfortunately the service staff were very inattentive ... other tables around us were served, ours several times not, so we had to walk to get the menu as well as pay to pay. Meanwhile, guests who came after us were cashed in at the table. That will not do.

Super good - and above all plentiful - eaten, fair price, friendly and helpful staff! Steak plate is excellent! Fish is also only recommended! A big BRAVO to the kitchen and the serving staff! Recommend it to everyone!

Ambience is very nice and the staff very friendly?. The starter salad was delicious?. Unfortunately, the main course was gyros, the meat was very dry?. I thought it was a shame. But maybe the other dishes are juicier ?The portions are very large. On-site parking is not possible as it is in the city center. You have to go to the toilet one floor below. During my silent visit there was a lot of paper on the floor and it wasn't exactly inviting ?.

If, like me, you don't want to wait for relaxation for restaurants, you can get fresh and delicious Greek cuisine here as usual, even in times of Corona. Super easy to pick up.

My family has been coming here since I can remember and the food has always been excellent. The view is fantastic ?.

Great little place near to the Rhein bridge going to the old Waldshut town. Serving good set luncheons at affordable prices. Lovely to chill and see the world passing on.

Nice and cozy restaurant. Located on a steep street, the restaurant is terraced. This creates various floors with few tables, so you can enjoy more peace. The staff is friendly and attentive. During our visit, however, very few guests were present. The prices (from Swiss point of view) very reasonably priced for the offered food. We had tagliatelle with tomatoes, olives and garlic plus a salad plate. Before the salad, we received a greeting from the kitchen for starters. When paid, we also received a fine digestive. All in all highly recommended. We'll be back for sure :-)
